Using the “Think Like a Thief” methodology, an approach invented in the 1980's by Martin Samociuk, Hibis' founder, Hibis challenges employees to put themselves into the shoes of a fraudster and devise ways to beat the system.
This approach is more effective than simply going through a list of pre-defined risks to see if they are applicable as it generates a series of risks based on real experience, knowledge and insight. We will run a series of workshops across functions to identify assets, opponents and real methods of committing fraud.
