Scope of the project:
235 million EUR (assessment on two Scandinavian business units)
Multiple indicators of potential fraud, corruption and/or otherwise unethical business behaviour
or were identified and mapped, leading to a prioritisation of the following:

questionable relationships with one-man companies

overcharging by service providers

dubious practices related to purchase of products

lack of transparency related to transport, logistics & packaging

lack of control of customer rebates (given through supplier invoices)
The project identified potential savings in the area of: 5.5million EUR
Project duration: 2 months, including regular meetings and workshops with active involvement of employees from the internal audit function
